...for my new Geforce2?
I recently upgraded from my old TNT2 and ever since have had lockups in just about every game/demo that I've got. I've tried using the new 22.81 and 12.90 drivers. The only thing I can think of is that the GF is more power hungry than the TNT and so I get lockups in intensive apps.

my system:
AMD Duron 650
MSI MS-6330, VIA KT133
256MB RAM (CL3)
Creative GeForce 2 GTS
SB Live Value
Diamond 56i Pro modem
Matshita DVD 8584A
Yamaha CRW8824E
IBM 20GB HD
Win 98se

Looking through several other techie guides/forums I have found that some peeps have had similar problems. Sometimes it is the psu other times its problems with VIA chipsets - I've tried several suggestions allready but to no avail.

Well I do have enough power.
My problem tured out to be some BIOS settings, there are several BIOS tips the faq recommends and the one that finally did it for me was the "AGP Driving Control" - I had this set to "AUTO", changing it to "MANUAL" and then setting the "AGP driving Value" as "BA" seemed to fix my lockups.

If you ever havea problem with a GF I can't recommend enough the gerforce faq:

Over kill unless you have a SCSI subsystem.
