If we make Agramon into a solo zone, that's where all the "soloers" will come.
We'll get rid of a few as it's too far away from the safety of their keep/tower, but they might just group up with more people then to make sure they win if they meet a soloer.

Yes Insta RvR is fun, it is very much indeed.

I hope it carries on for a long time.

Different people, have different ideas of how RvR is when it is fun or not You could also say: "Some like the mother, and others like the daughter".

I assume you play for Midgard like me, as your signature states "Bulle of Fetsryk".

I hope you find your solo spot Airwalker, but i do not think it is a good idea of you to go to Berkstead when the Insta RvR is going on, unless you patrol for lone enemies going to or from the battlefield in the north of hadrians wall. If you on the other hand choose to go too close to the battlefield, the realistic behaviour of enemies would be to kill you as soon as possible, because you are a recon type, able to inform about the precise number and position of your enemy.

If you get killed too often, then solo recon is not the option in that area, and you have to be re-inforced by either other SB's Hunters or a shammy hiding to help you out, when needed. Could be nice to have some co-operation with recon teams writing vital information in the BG in Hadrians. I would love to have SB's or hunters in group, as they can help laying ambush against enemies, and if you are in group nobody are cheated for realm pts, neither you nor the rest of the group.

If you dont like I-RvR then dont go to the place where it happends. Go somewhere else, i heard rumors about the Renaris Area, i am sure that around Bledmeer could be some action when half the Mids are in Berkstead, or you could try Emain in Hib.

From what i see a LOT of ppl that normally do not RvR that much get dragged into it due to I-RvR and have fun, earn RP and learn a little about how RvR is different from PvE. I find that very good.

The I rvr unskilled or skilled player of today may be the solo rvr or opted 8 vs. 8 RvR player of tomorrow. Now i write unskilled but i actually dont mean unskilled, why should some ppl be less skilled if they like large battles. In your opinion they might be unskilled, but the fact is that they just have another approach to the game than you have, and therefore might feel that some other things are funny.

Personnaly i see RvR was meant to be like I-RvR is now, meaning huge sieges, large battles etc. and in the border areas of the battlefield. It would be nice if we had a population of 3000 on the server clustering so we did not have to make an artificial battlefield taking and holding Berkstead, but we DONT have that and therefore the next best solution is to have I rvr the way we see it now.


This post is not meant to be offencive to you in any way Airwalker, just to tell you that other players have different goals, and find other things funny than you might do.

I had a fight yesterday where 4 albs "found" me, and I just stood there expecting to be instakilled. After about 10 seconds, looking back at the screen, I realised only 2 were beating on me By then I was on about 30% health, I did a couple of garottes for the sake of it, but obviously still died.

I'm sorry, but accusing people of being mentally challenged because they decide to hit an enemy in RVR is simply pathetic. Perhaps you have "4 others pop on you" because you are fighting near bridges, near towers, near keeps, in iRVR zones...logic would say that you should expect 'adds' when fighting here.

Just because you like to solo, doesn't mean everyone else does. If you don't enjoy the game, don't play it - seems the logical answer to me; or think about playing away from the majority, having less fights but 'better' ones in your opinion.

I'm not sure about stealthing (as I rarely do it), but when I've been solo or duo on sorc, more enemies 'adding' during a fight is a thrill - much more satisfying when the odds are against you and you come out on top.

When I've soloed in the past on a stealther, I expect to get 'adds', to be outnumbered, to be 'zerged' etc. I just release, rebuff and get back out there

But then I'm not a big fan of whining

That's more because of the placement of the docks than anything else.
Up untill recently, Emain has been almost empty. Hibs run from DC to the tower and straight down to the dock. It's very hard for people to intercept hibs going to that dock.
In alb they swim over the river, but some do cross the bridge, which gives mids and hibs a reason to go there.
In mid, few people swim over as it's just as fast to run over the bridge. More reason for albs and hibs to go there and more reason for mids to stay there.

Lately there has been some action in Emain and you get hibs who camp the bridge, waiting for fights to join in on.
They are no worse or better than the bridgecampers in alb or mid.
Hibs doesn't travel more because they became a lot braver, or felt like exploring a lot, when they chose that realm. Mythic simply designed NF poorly.

ofc you fucking do. any retard can park his bot at berk and rvr in the presence of 500 BD/SM/WL.

U complain about adds but 90% of the adds will be mids nuking down your target.

You're right! Sorc is a powerful class, and although I don't solo much, it is far easier to deal with adds. However, it's easy to say "all you have to do is mez them"...right, because no enemies have purge, stun, ML9, moc, banelord, SOS hehe.

I think it's a case of choosing the right class for your mentality really; if you don't like getting 'added' on/haven't chosen a class to compete with the 'adds' you'll no doubt get - perhaps you should try another class - or, go away from the main bulk of deathspam.

"Try playing a gimptank" - well, if I chose a class like, in your case, a thane; I wouldn't solo, that's for sure! I'd group, or at least duo

I tried that a few times. Was a bunch of albs/hibs sitting around. Some fighting. So I perfed one and suddenly I had my ass full of 20 albs/hibs all hunting The Arpee.

So what's the deal? Should I unstealth and fight? I don't really feel the need to negate 2 speclines, sorry.

'Solo' zones just seems to be for a few select people/classes, SBs not welcome.

Wasn't saying sorc is godmode, infact I don't have much trouble with the ones that don't moc/ml9 on me. And I don't think it's a mistake from my port soloing on my thane, was my 1st char ever made and I'm very fond of him, infact he's the most fun char I've ever played and I will keep on soloing for quite some time more, add-free or drowning in adds
