I have tracked down my problems to the fact that my internet card and my video card share the same IRQ (11).

Does anmyone know a guide to how to fix this ot can describe how I make a separate IRQ for different things that currently share them.

Move the Network card down 1 or 2 slots. that'll almost certainly fix your problem.
I.E. try to keep your first 1 or 2 PCI slots empty.

You CAN change IRQs and stuff, but it's better not to mess with that (at your level of computer knowledge anyway)
It's better that you open up the box and look for the Network card.
If it's in the slot next to the Video card or the next one down, move it down to slot 3 or greater.

K thx I will try.

There was acctually 3 different things that used IRQ 11. Video card internet card plus another device that was listed twice.

Cant recall the name atm.

Computers are like women to me. I don´t know enough about them, just how to use them.
