Well, I'm still playing. Still can't land that helicopter though, due the the throttles extreme sensitivity over 10% of it's play.

Apparently due for a fix in the next patch...

Yep pity about the multi player, i'd prolly have played it myself.
As far as the single player goes, well yeah its good but when am I going to find time to play it ? Never probably

supposed rumours from a dude called "suma" from BIS is that they are ditching the DirectPlay code they went with originally (they didnt have a clue about network coding when they started) and are now rebuilding the network code from the base up to make it more "managable" on low bandwidth connections

Multi-player is deffo fun indeed on LAN, pity we seem to play nothing but co-ops and keep getting wiped out by a rogue tank or summat

also need static targets like cows

Whilst we're on the subject how do you get the patch to work. I downloaded the 1.4 patch, it was zipped, i clicked unzipped but like , nothing happens......

It extracts to an .exe, put opf in the cd tray, and double-click.
