Internet Explorer

Hi Fellas

Got a bit of a problem with Internet Explorer.

I am running Windows XP Pro
Nforce 2 Mobo
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
Athlon XP2400+
1024 MB DDR RAM
1Mbit Broadband connection

Up until a few days ago I could access the internet no problem. Now when I try to access it it comes up with the white screen saying that it cannot make a connection and press here to detect network settings etc.

However I can access via MSN Expplorer no problems.

Any help on getting bak my normal connection would be appreciated.

Are you using NTL cable ? perchance.

If so, i used to get the same problem. To rectify the problem i clicked on <Tools> <Internet Options> <Connections> <Lan Settings> <Check the use Proxy box> <input i.p. 62.254.128.4> <port 8080> <ok>. This worked for me, hope this helps.
