Internet Explorer nonsense

Hi

A dodgy problem - i think ive been had by something Gator-like.

Back in the day, i could go along looking for www.wijnakedxxx.com, but then getting an MSN error when it couldnt find it. NOW though ? I get Cannot Find Server BUT in the address bar theres 'http:///?%20www.wijnakedxxx.com'

Just this afternoon i was getting all this internet optimizer shit which i promptly removed (not uninstalled) so maybe that had something to do with it ? or getting rid of tonnes of spyware.. hmm

anyway, any ideas ?

Look up www.lavasoft.com and download Ad-Aware, that will check the spy ware state of things, and kill off some nasty cookies too.

I was doing well, I had only contracted Alexa last time I ran it (yesterday), though downstairs we had about 180 objects, mostly cookies, but Gator and some other thing too.

Frankly, use a less spy friendly browser would be my tip - like Firebird - but it's not to everyone's taste to mirgrate, so I shant preech too much. Will can do that bit :)

done the scanning but no, still the same old thing
