Hi all

I have a 64k Cable modem through NTL which gets me a ping of around 40.

I am gonna buy a hub tomorrow and a couple of network cards so i can share the internet connection and i was wondering as i have a low ping could 2 computers play online at the same time.

Thanx for any help

Cheers.

64k shared (im speaking from isdn experience) for gaming is a no no :D. Unless you both connect through a different comp (i.e. neither of u is the gateway) youll have trouble. I.e. if i load up cs up here (halfing rate etc) and again downstairs, itll work fine down there, but will be non existant up here (i.e. 99999 etc) - well im guessing, but everything else works like that.

So, erm, i don't really know waht im talking about neways :D But its summin to do with the gateway (the computer the nets connected to) and the sharing of its bandwith. Straight windows ICS wont make it playable on both machines.

Erm, anyone else care to fill in the blanks :D
