Here lies the problem that i didn't bring up in general:

DAoC peeps don't like nerdy CS that much.

Battlefield, Quake, UT...all good. But CS. Never did like it.

I have CS:S, I play it a little bit,I would even go so far as to say I like the game, but the problem is, one day I'll be truely 'ueber', unbeatable even, then I'll play the next day and I'll be totally noobified.

I have no idea why but its just the way it is, I think that this makes me a poor CS player overall though - imo good players should beable to play well most of the time, like me in UT being good 'some' of the time is no use to man nor beast.

I guess, if you need people for CS:S i'll join, but I would've thought that with the likes of Dil and co we'd have enough people who eat, drink and sleep (with) CS:S that I'd not get a place even if I wanted one

Remember peeps, it's not that you're "good" at anything, it's the having fun while giving it a go that counts most. I promise you, I've never played a minute of CounterStrike in my life, ever, (you'll prolly notice this ahem) but I'm going to be up there to get fragged for the team!

Also hopefully it won't "just" be CSS, but perhaps some other games too. We'll see

I understand this Mr Seel, but like I said in the thread in General, we've had to make some choices regarding what games we can feasably play. I personally think AVP2 is a fun game with tonnes of atmosphere, but due to numbers it's not going to happen this time. Note to that, if this UvT is a success there will be more. Next time there may well be an AVP server and a NWN/PVP server depending on who comes forwards with what.

A note to everyone here: if you want to play, post in the thread in the general forum! Right now signed up US team outnumbers you 2:1!
