tbh.. taken advantages of this... wouldnt be more cheat than any other character using his skills, they arent in any way abusing things here...

Hail to the Paladin. :D

This is in no way cheating. The players are using the tools given to them and they are behaving AS INTENDED. This can in no way be used as something those small brained Middies and Hibbies to moan about, but hell; when it comes to Relic Raids those pathetic Middies will moan about anything that might give an enemy the edge. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if this was to be used in practice in Excalibur, not only would it be legal, but it would definately cause a lot of upset 8 year olds at the other side of the fence.

Talked about this with Khalen and Kcinimodus way back in September while we were bored crafting :D -finally got a chance to try it a couple of months ago when we had 2 pala's in grp and got bored-took Ubers for a nice picnic in the corner of the map for a good while but died due to pulling too many for the grp to handle ^^ -the hardest part in balancing agrro and twisting such that each pala has the attention of one/two ubers each

Works best with 2pala's twisting heal/armour chant + 1 cleric for buffs in a seperate grp for each uber guard

Not implemented yet as it seems a tad unfair to take relics with ~20 palas, 8 clerics and a couple of ram carrier groups...

"yeah, and necros were working as intended, too bad mythic nerfed em"

goes VERY nicely with

"damn ffs la-abusers"

Its a game, if you wanna be lame there is little we can do about it sadly

Cheating? Darn it, Arnor, you disappoint me once again with your incessant whining. This is in no ways cheating, and in no way was any shady game mechanism utilized. Get over yourself already, man.

Umm, sounds like a good tactic, heal chant+taunt+engage, nice tactic.... i think the guy on VN Boards just wants the 1 and only zerg approach to be successful when a game is meant to have tactics in it such as this one... perhaps the next relic raid leader could take note of this as it sounds like it'd work damn good!

This tactic was used on the Guin server at the weekend. 10am raid, relic was taken with ease.

Hats off to the sneaky kobbie that stole the mid relic at the same time, shame he got caught in emain hiding behind a tree with it 1 hour after the raid.

The same tactic was attempted the day after, unfortunately the palis timing was a bit off and the ubers rolled them.
