A wise move by Microsoft, they need to get alot more RPG gamers onboard the Xbox360 bandwagon and there is no better way to do than by offering an online beta of FFXI for free.

It now finally becomes clear to me why FFXI always felt like a Console game...

Cause it is.

And yes smart move by Microsoft. Especially since Sony is so blattently preparing SWG for the Playstation 3.

Heh you have a damn good point there.

If Microsoft were really smart they would get Blizzard to do a port of WoW, or a console MMO based on the Warcraft universe.
