Interesting bugs

1) First time ever i experienced this bug in df. Logged my scout on, entered DF and logged my bb on. Then when i was about to buff myself i couldnt find my scout, but a character named Batusai. I switched back to my scout, placed him somewhere and switched back to my cleric, still looking at a lvl 50 mercenary called Batusai. Everybody else than my scout was seeing myself as a lvl 50 merc, which is kinda odd. Anyway, i logged out, as not to create any harm if you can understand the implications this could have had.

2) I was xp'ing down at the rocots, and could hear people buff and talk at the alb steps. When someone aoe buffed the people there, i lost my own purp buffs and got the aoe buffs myself.

Sometimes you wonder about the meaning of the words "working as intended", cough.. but i had an interesting and enjoyable day in daoc anyway, heh.

Ive gotten the no1 bug before

my scout kept popping up as another one or in 1 instance I was a armsman according to my bb

my bb looked like an wizard few month ago. 4got name of the wiz but the real owner of the wiz stood there with an alt and was wondering how his main could be there

My scout logged on as wiizard , I also had ambasher stats aswell. Did look weird seeing a stealthed wizard

Had both these bugs on my account and lot of others too.

I have had the same thing happen to me and I pm'd the wizz I was looking like and got him to come to my loc .. and someone took a screenie of the 2 of us next to each other as the same wizz and one with me as a stealthed wizz ..... I reported it all to rightnow and they said they are aware that this has been happening since 1.57 there was no need to be concerned about any accounts being compromised and they will eventually get round to doing something about it. ... that was about a year ago. So should be sorted in a couple more years if we are lucky

about the buff thing....

I've been having it alot lately that my bb buffs me..I see the buffs "land" (i.e. a con buff made my health go down 20-25% and my conc on my bb is going down) but as soon as I alt-tab my buffs are gone....

or....I fully buff my main char, according to the conc screen and tot the stats screen all the buffs are working but on top of my screen I onlt see 3 or 4 of the buffs I put on the char....mostly lower level ones....

Bug #2 happens to me quite often but mostly on camlann. It's good to hear people whine though... so I don't mind xD

Ive had lots of speed and buff problems lately.

For example I was in odins the other day and Ansur would lose speed all the time.
The solution to that is to shut down speed and then recast it after about 10 secs.

Ive also had the problem when all my buffs go away or just blink between my own buffs and some aoe buff or some realm speed.

The only solution to that is to relog.

Pisses me off...

In OF, in odins, a group that was roaming around in Odins, thought I was following them, but it was really Saifang's model on one of their group members.

Having movement speed song on while stealthed is another funny bug.

I regularly see a clone of myself standing next to Castle Sausages bind stone, weirdest bit is its still in armor I was wearing like last month, ml2.10 vest etc, even the dyes are how were. Not sure if it a client or server bug as I see it on my cleric as well, not sure if others see it.

i got this on camlann too, i kept taking the damage for the guy who was my 'double'; as he was getting pounded by animist pets, my health was dropping. Not very helpful to be walking around with your health going down for no real reason . i also kept getting that annoying double kill thing, such as:

...
Hope they address this bug :S

I had a bug once where 2 Shadowblades in thid didnt actually kill me, just hugged and ran off, surely that bugs unheard of

Iv not had eny bugs makin me look like some one else,but i do on occasion enter NF then start to drown ilose all health but dont die ,i get full health back an gain about 7 bubs of exp till i log weird eh,i allways relog strait away dont wana get acused of cheating,an the added xp never stays ,not had eny other bugs really oh oh yes i do lol when using the tele stone in NF on occasion i tele into the sky no land can be seen .maybe its heaven !

best bug was speed (actually speed) while in stealth, i was runing on must of been about speed2 ish in stealth mode was kinda cool but then a camb unstealthed me and it went away o and when i got it i had 2 purp aoe buffs on me (that didnt affect me) just had the icons
