Intel 945 express

Goodam awful gfx card, becoming the most popular in small laptops and just will not run catacombs.
It runs TOA perfectly with full effects, but 'renderer creation error ' with cat/laby engine.
Tried 3d analyze..no luck, anyone got any ideas?
The funny thing is older mobile chipsets will work and newer ones obviously, but his particular chip just goes belly up.
Got the latest driver/directx

I'll try that , though the lappy is brand new, it's the MSI Wind clone from Advent, plays WOW like a dream, but there's something about the Cata engine it doesn't like.

Render error sounds like a directX problem specially since ToA runs fine, try upgrading to latest directX and drivers

i have the 945GM Express and it runs DR/CATA/LABY client fine

Nailed it, loaded latest bios for the Advent 4211

Can you tell me what version you got it to work with? Been trying everything to try to get it to work but keep getting render creation failed error.
