Apparently BT do a version. It's called Bean Tin Anytime.

It costs £2,000 for the tins, and £2,000 per quarter. However, it's not due until 2010, and you have to live within 10 metres of the exchange.

Even then, they cannot gaurentee the quality of the string, and you may have to share the string with 200 other users.

String Support Line is £200 per second.

Oh - well, I'll stick with me NTL cable modem for now :)
