Movie by Jamin Winans has just come out on DVD

Well worth a watch, its a low budget indie movie but has amazing cinematography so doesnt look budget at all. It also has pretty cool and original story

A couple of my friends thought it was a little slow paced but i thought it was ok personally

Synopsis
As the light fades and the city goes to sleep, two forces emerge. They are invisible except for the power they exert over us in our sleep, battling for our souls through dreams. One force delivers hope and strength through good dreams; the other infuses the subconscious with desperation through nightmares. John (Chris Kelly) and Emma (Quinn Hunchar), Father and Daughter are wrenched into this fantastical dream world battle, forced to fight for John's soul and to save Emma from an eternal nightmare. Separate in their journey, they encounter unusual characters that exist only in their subconscious. Or do they? Ink is a high-concept visual thriller that weaves seamlessly between the conscious and the subconscious.Ink has been hailed as the new "it" movie and compared to cult classics Brazil, Donnie Darko, The Matrix, Dark City and Pan's Labyrinth

Interesting.

"It" must mean artistic farting about, low budget and bad acting :p

If so, this is definetaly the new "it".

Shame these days "indie" is an excuse to lower standards.

"That was a crap movie."
"You don't get it man, it's an indie movie!"

Yeah, no. Crap is crap and this movie seems it's overflowing with plotholes filled with artistic cinematography and bad acting hidden behind so called meaningful ramblings.

So you haven't seen it? Just basing it on the trailer?

Besides, I thought the trailer looked good.

Trailer, yes.

Usually trailers give some indication of the overall acting, look and feel.

Like i said, i'll watch it, but not holding any high hopes.

The trailer looked like one of those black&white art films where a man sits on a chair, says "I died today, with a lemon, i see." and drops a glass of milk on the floor in slowmow :p

Wasn't for me, average at best. Visually good, acting bad, storyline didn't really live up to what it could of been. On a positive, nice to see what can be done with 250k budget.
