Info on pbae group

Hey.

Im part of a pbae xp group on Friday evening, continuing to Sunday evening. We dont really have an aim, but 30+ is possible i think. :)

I've looked around on vnboards and checked out that pbaehero's guide, but his group setup is different to ours.
We are using

Zerk
Zerk
Supp sm
Supp sm
Supp sm
Healer (pac/aug)
Shaman (Mend)
Skald (Before level 20 this person will be a Bonedancer, once we reach 20 he will switch to his lvl20 Skald)

+ bots etc.

So the Pet pull guide he posted isnt much use, also there are some things not right e.g. Drakes at level 8-10..? :)

Has anyone used a setup similiar to our one? Could you give any tips?

Were only playing for the weekend and dont have a level target, so we've really no idea how it will go, or how high we will reach, so coudnt justify dropping a Spiritmaster for a supp Runie as we may not even get much use out of Pbt. ;)

Well sup rm helps a lot after lvl 16 since he can spam group bt.

NISSES from level 8-10 or something to like 15+ is possible

we did nisse's till the mobs all the way down (zealots etc) didnt give enough exp and switched to mora's i think.

Nisse's is usually not very camped and you get great baf

Thanks for the tips etc, does anyone have a small guide on where to hunt at each level - bearing in mind the setup we are using.

Maverick, i read that like i said, but his setup is different to the one me and my friends are using. I think we will be bot pulling rather than pet pulling. :)

Also his guide has some things definatly not right, I.e. mobs to low for certain levels etc, but if this guides worked for other people then ill go with it roughly. :)

Bot pulling only works for so long (high 20's) then the mobs run the risk of hitting the bot. If they hit, you get either vastly reduced XP or 0(if the pet is grey to the mob). Pulling with spells isnt great either as the mobs reach the group at separate times and is a waste of the SM's power. I've been lvling my SM over the last few days and found that pet pulling worked best although i was in a small group or solo.

Aye we would stop pulling with Shammy after a bit, i think it would be good for zooming thru those first few levels though.

I've asked that Pbaehero fellow for a few tips on Vnboards, but unfortunatly he is a complete cunt. :<

Couple of great placed for XPing with my SM, due to high pop rate were



Skelys in musp, 3 camps near the entrance (down first valley on right, Clear one move on, and they are vulnerable to spirit so go down fast


Undead camp, all mobs here are vulnerable to spirit too, nice pop rate


Low lord room in varul


Anything undead or ghostly appears to vulnerable

yes i found that not very many spots in mid for low level massive pulls.
then i discovered the beach over the hill from aegirs landing in SI has a TON of musskalans. some bosses too and good low level drops.
so try there. con blu/yellow/orange/red to my L13
