hello,
I have a lvl 34.1 infiltrator. I am tryig to learn as much as i can about the class. and i need a good template too. some techniques in RvR maybe? just help me once again jsut like you did with the paladin! thanks!

Joking aside, I have a lvl 11 infiltrator and I don't really have any idea on how to play them.

Really depends what weapons you plan on using tbh.
If you're going thrust, you WILL want the lvl 50 style, dragonfang, which is a 9 sec stun chaining from an evade. The slash lvl 50 style is a bit naff, so I've heard, so your best bet is just get 50 slash using items and realm ranks. The rest of your spec lines is just a matter of choice and patience tbh. At least 21 crit strike is needed really, and prolly 34 for the PA-CD chain, unless you're going 50 DW to, and becoming a 'mercinfil'. Confused yet?

Envenom and stealth should be anywhere between 34-39, depending on when you want 50 with items and rr, for less uncovering and lifebane etc, and if you're not going for a mercinfil template, the rest of the points just go into dual wield.

Having said all this, my infil is lvl 14, so I prolly know nothing

Oh, and playing techniques.. really depends on your spec and preferences to be honest. If you like tanking it out with people, you'd be best to go for a mercinfil, and generally run around not being all that sneaky If you REALLY like hitting hard, go 50 cs and PA with a large delay weapon, ask the ex niar about this

If you'd prefer to hit and run, high envenom from the start would be preferable, so you get lifebane as soon as you can(not sure if you can get it before 50 with + env items and realm ranks, but if you can, could be good)

Or you can just go for something inbetween all of these, and get 50 in just about everything @ rr5 or so.

Think the most popular spec atm is

50 Thrust = Dragonfang
35 env + 11 from items + 4 from rr5 = 50 which is lifebane
34 cs + xx + x = PA-CD chain, useful against casters when you can't get an evade for DF
36 stealth + 1x items + RR = 50, depending on when you want it with items/RR.
~24 Dual wield = not sure bout the chance to hit with offhand, but afaik its 25% at start, 0.5% per char lvl, and 0.5 per spec lvl, don't quote me on that tho

Just try and find a spec you're comfortable with, and find a playing style to go with it, and you'll be fine

I suspect you've taken your inf through Thidranki and tbh, if you still don't know what you want from the class... it's not the one for you

Go 50 base stealth and 50 base envenom. Rest is not important imo.

39 stealth
39 envenom
39CS
50 thrust
rest dual

Personally i`m
50 thrust/44 cs/36 stealth/venom/rest dw.
if 1.56 will screw thrust styles (heard that damage from them became much lower) will go 44 slash/50 cs.

PS. You`ll want to respec 39 stealth/venom asap after hitting next RR. 37 for RR3/36 for RR4/35 if you patient and want RR5 is much better.

so when you hit RR4 you willl have 50 in stealth and envenom.
You really cant Gimp an infil to many spec points for that

Spec how you want, but I'd say 39 Stealth/Env is a little too high

Try to plan for RR4 at least, where you will get +3 to all stats. If you plan to be playing until SC comes out, you can drop your stats even lower.

If you want Lifebane and 50Stealth ASAP, 39 in those stats is ok. But it pays to think a few patches and RR's ahead.

37 stealth,50 thrust,44 cs,35 env,20 dw works fine (can even use lvl 51 poison next RR! )

I actually wish I took more in stealth,because the +stealth items are nothing but crap imo,would rather get stuff with different resists/+hits on.

i specced env 38 steakth 37 to save points in SC later on

But even if you should mess your specc up.. there will alwys be respec stones
