Yesterday myself and a sorc were fighting mids, mostly 4+ at a time and the amount of "stealther adds" was quite frankly taking the piss. On a couple of occasions we had 5or 6 sbs and 2hunters on us, please no more stealthers in thid it ruins it :<...

So thereofre 3infils grping aint half as bad as a fg of stealthers as happend on occasions yesterday(mightn't have been grpd just coincidence but unlikely)

P.S. did see one poor sb however getting killed by an zergfil and 2 other infils joined in right at the end, even tho the inf hadnt lost any health and was using the garotte snare meaning the sb was dead meat. So all do it, but as far as I can tell albs don't do it quite as often as mids but as an alb i ofv dont get triple pa'd+++ by zergfiltratorZ

Once again, I never groupped in thid with my infil (well only been in 1 regular group with 4 others, minstrel/cleric/theurgist/reaver/me but that was for 15mins). Sometimes they ask me to group up with other infils 4 theinfilzerg4tehwin but I dont accept it...And yes its annoying that when you are fighting someone 1-on-1 and you have won the fight already with no hp loss that there comes a stupid newbie for the last blow and is dancing around cause he has a killspam...Also when I see an infil fighting a sb/middie I wont jump in immediately, just watch how things are going and if it is going wrong for the infil I of course will jump in (tho that does mean most time dead infil and dead middie )

I don't understand why stealthers in general group up.

I mean, if you do, then that's great. I don't really care. But I've played 2 stealthers in Thid, one archer and one SB, and the furthest thing from my mind when I rolled them was grouping. I rolled them to solo in Thidranki, and the only way you can succesfully do that in Thid is with a stealther.

So when I was levelling, I was always looking forward to sneaking around, picking off stragglers, scouting, dueling other cocky soloers, catching other stealthers off-guard, etc. I was hoping I'd be able to oneshot people and all the other stuff that I'm sure most other noobie stealthers look forward to doing.

Now, I always assumed that most people think the same way.. The thought that people actually roll stealth classes, thinking to themselves "man, it'll be so cool when I'm 24, I can't wait to move around with 5 other stealthers and hopefully get one hit in on soloers before they drop. It will be so awesome zerging soloers from stealth." seems.. so amazingly stupid to me.

I mean what the hell. I never, ever even considered joining groups with my SB - that is, I literally wasn't ever expecting an invite box to popup.. Yet, day after day, I see SBs asking to join groups (not even stealth-groups in some cases). My mindset always was, and still is "why would a stealther want to group? Don't people roll stealthers to solo?"

But, no, they don't. Some people do. They're the stealthers who stand out because, holy shit, they're actually solo. But the overwhelming majority of people who roll stealth classes for Thid are doing it because stealth is overpowered and large groups of stealthers can kill all the soloers and small groups they want to. They don't care about solo'ing, they're too worthless, and they don't care about skill either.. they just want to try and get the last hit in on their victims and take photos of their deathspam (yes, this is the mindset of stealthgroups, I've been in 1 once)... and they latch together with other, similiar shitheads and, well, threads like this popup.

And there's nothing you can do about it, really. But every time I see 6 SBs moving out together, I think of how much better Thid would be, overall, if they were actually 3 savages, 1 skald and 2 healers instead of 6 SBs.

But oh well. Not much you can do about 'people', really. So QQ and etc, etc.

As an addendum, though, I've seen much better survivability, skill and, well, deathspam from a certain paladin/sorc duo lately (whom we're all familiar with).. those zerg-infs should stop grouping their crappy classes, and roll something hideously overpowered like 2-handed crush paladins (SO oober, am i rite?)

I remember killing Reavers and such through the CK doors with my pre-nerf berserker, and being perfed by Danya in response. Good times :-o

It's as valid as PBAE'ing through the doors is. Shame most people don't realise that melee classes are able to do it

Harder as a melee than pbae too - you actually have to pick a target rather than just walk up and spam the pbae button.

1. It's Dannyan.

2. Spec is 19+5 slash, 19+5 stealth, 21+5 CS, 15+5 Envenom, 3+3 DW.
Lot of damage on SBs cos I'm slash and we have hib's melee relic.

3. Yes I've killed plenty of SBs solo. I don't set out group up with other infs, but the nature of the BG tends to collect everyone into one place so there are times when more than one inf attacks an SB. Likewise I get jumped by multiple SBs some of the time too. Generally you can tell if people are grouped up or not though - if one just adds randomly they probably aren't. On the other hand I've seen SBs and infs running around on stick to each other before which is pretty weak. Generally I try to stay away from other infs, but I can't really see them that far away so sometimes they're close.
