Infil spec here. discuss!!

if I ever could level up my infil.

these two specs is what I have in mind.

discuss which would suit me best

I had the second spec 5 days ago. Then I respecced CS down to 39 for more DW. So now it's something like...

50 slash
39 CS
37 stealth
35 env
26 DW

will be respeccing both stealth and env at RR5 also to like 35 stealth, 32 env, and bring DW up to 35ish.

Second would be the way to go tho as the slash-skill is much more important than CS-skill. I never even noticed a diffrence in damage when I went from 44 -> 39 CS.

heard that spec is better at rr5+

also I got a merc which is 50 dw xD
cant be arsed to play a leather merc with poisons and stealth

I have: 45Slash, 39CS, 35/35/35. This I would recommend over the spec above. The lv44/50 CS styles aren't worth having from what I remember, I haven't missed them since respeccing to 39CS. PA damage isn't great anymore anyway, so I doubt +11 CS will make that much difference to your PA cap.

There's alot of fuss about 50 weaponskill, once you have buffs +sc it doesn't make much difference either way. I'd rather have higher DW which will do more damage over-time, than a little higher slash skill.

Not sure its any good at all, but if I do decide to level my infil (he's only at BG level at the mo) I was kinda looking at the following spec:

50 DW
50 Slash
21 CS
30 Stealth
30 Envenom

It's kind how I play anyway so I doubt I will change due to opinions expressed, but still, feel free to comment

diamond slash isnt worth it, and the extra weapon skill is afaik tiny. 44 slash, and 39 or 44 CS will give you alot more DW, which you'll be much more useful with

I did the thrust version of that spec. Bored me, its press PA, press 2 keys repeatedly, next target pls. No stun either in slash mercfil ;o

If you get that spec at rr1-2 GL! is all i can say

More than ud think. Alot of thrust infs have respeced, slash = uber grp spec given current rvr situation.

I mean who needs pa/cd/df when you have a mincer with you and slash damage
