Inf with crit 50...???

Hi

My current plan for my inf is to go 50 in CS. Is this any good, or will it be better to have it at 44 (thats what i currently have). Does anyone have any experiance with crit 50 inf. What are the for and against?

My current plan is:

50 slash
50 crit
35 stealth
24 dual
21 env

Too low Envenom, you want it at 47 total asap...

50 CS - don't expect to pull Ripper off much and when you do, expect it to do lousy damage. PA damage won't be noticeably higher than 44 base CS.

I've no problem with my poisons, the 47 debuff rarely gets resisted and neither is insidious lethal resisted much. Like 2% more than Lifebane

Lower slash? Slashers already suffer from low weapskill and slap the 47 enervating on it and you're looking at a buffed infil with less than 1k weapskill... If there's something you always take to 50, it's weapon-spec.

As someone else said above, you won't pull ripper off too often but when u do it DOES do big damage. I quite enjoy playing a slash infil and it's nice on Sidi raids to be rolling against 1-2 ppl instead of 10-11 for a nice drop

Have to gimp one line to go 50/50 and that line for CS-spec is DW, such as in Catalina's spec.

Sure you can go higher DW and low (or none) envenom, but expect to lose more fights due to useless poisons that don't simply do enough damage to offset the minimally higher offhand swing chance.

Thrust 39+10+4= 53
Critical Strike 39+11+4= 54
Envenom 36+11+4= 50
Dual Wield 20+11+4= 35

Then i got RAs like dualist reflexes and Mastery of Pain to do more DW damage and more criticals. Think it's the best spect i could have.

Maybe I'll respect at RR6 and get more DW.

And i'll take stealth down to 36-37 to get more DW in next patch.

50 is a bit high

i would stop at, say, 10

and go 50 DW/50 Thrust/34 Stealth/31 Evenom

what is the point in 39 stealth?

for the love of god, at rr6, respec to something with about 34 evenom/stealth and 50 thrust

tis quite nice, ripper is shit tho tbh, 50cs is nice tho not only for higher pa dmg but for more garotte-achilles dmg

ripper does less dmg than hamstring in the main

oh yeh and mop4 fortehwinn crit on pa kinda hurts

thx alot for all ure advices , but i think i will go ahead with my plan (as the n00b i am). Im lvl 45 now with 45 in crit, so its no turning back...
If i dont like the spec, i just go and kill the dragon for a respec stone

anyway, like Xenny im 50 crit/trust, and i think its fun. but tbh ur gimped, hence the most ppl u fight is other stealthers, so getting PA of on a stealther is hard.

lower crit and more in DW makes u better against stealthers, and making 50 DW and 50 trust is so FotM.

depends on how u wanna play, rly.
