Going to wait, and see what prices all the retailers charge.

Incidently without pimping alternatives, I have seen The Back to the Future DVD box set for £14.99, its hard to find soemone who actually has it in stock at that price though.

Arrived last week. Decided on the Region 1 as the Region 2 version will apparently be cut.

In fact, until I watched my new DVD version of The Temple of Doom I was unaware that every single version I had ever watched had been cut.

I'd never seen the bit where, upon first finding the sacraficle ceramony, you not only see the high priest put his hand on the guys chest, but see him put his hand into his chest, remove his heart and then have a close up of the chest closing back up.

Mine came Saturday (along with Teachers Series 1).

I didn't realise it's been cut though!

Temple of Doom wasn't as good as the other two, but still a cracking film (reminds me very much of Saturday morning cinema when I were a lad).

Seen them all so many times that I could probably close my eyes and play back 90% of the three films for free. Indiana Jones is good 'n' all but when they show them all on TV every couple of years it's hardly worth the purchase.

I thought Temple of Doom was the best one ! I knew it had been cut on the "heart scene" though, although I am convinced when I saw it in the cinema (showing my age) it was complete, could never remember how it went.

TBH I do remember it being quite scary, I am glad it was cut on my R2 edition as I got to show it to my son. Then again, the end sequences in both Raiders and Crusade had gruesome moments with people turning into skeletons.

One other thing, we watched The Last Crusade the other night and was amused to see the "No Ticket" sequence, the original this time, afetr seeing it in Dogma on TV a few weeks back.
