This saturday my fine guild had a meeting about the problems we have facing the last months. We managed to build up a pretty big guild of swedes but becouse a lack of RvR most of the people that dinged 50 left the day after. This as we had noone to take the iniative to start a hunt, but at yesterdays meeting we decided to put our ubergimpmaster Dracul as our RvR master that hold our hunts and RvR which will be one hunt and one RvR night every week as a start. The number of hunts/RvR will increase as we get more 45+ people. At the moment it would be very hard to get a hunt every day as we are so few active high-levels.

To make the guild living again we invite all swedes who want to do good RvR away from the zerging with people from your own country. If you are intrested pm me, our general Dracul or our guildfather Sprit (who will make you feel comfortable in the guild) in game for invite.

edit: And if you join and don´t feel this is something for you, you leave the first weeks. We have had enough of people quitting when they reach hihger levels.

yeah i noticed a lot of IVV left over the past few months... shame too because it was allways a nice guild, remember seeing elance shoot up the lvl's as a mana eld then suddenly dissapear almost as soon as she hit 50 .

these days it's pretty rare to see an IVV cloak, but they're still out there every now and then, be nice to see you guys out in force again

Atm it's a trend that high-lvls leave their guilds to join the rvr
guilds.

not all guilds go throught the "damnit our lvl 50's just left for vengeance! " problem, when you think about it, vengeance certainly doesnt

btw, that's not a flame at vengeance, so far every vengeance member i've met has been nice

I consider lvling (and getting alot of help in doing that from your guild) and then leaving at lvl 50 a form of abuse. Abuse of the guild, abusive of every individual member who helps and abuse of trust.
People who do this are imho opportunistic pricks.

(I'm not saying you have to stick with the same guild forever, i'm saying that if you quit a guild and are in an other 5 minutes later then obviously your old guild has meant nothing to you. wether you join an RvR guild or not)

BoH has had alot of these and I frown upon each and every one give or take 2.

Then it's better to do a guild merge, Eternal Warriors and Red Dragons of Wrath decided to merge becouse we were only about 3 lvl 50s at Eternal Warriors and that's not enough to keep one going. I must say that it has been a really success becouse there is no point trying to keep a dying guild up becouse it will only lessen your fun. Rather get your guild to join another, the more the merrier.

We speak of "normal" guilds here - not RvR dedicated ones.
