I think this is gonna be an inspiring post to make some people think and first and foremost I am proud...nay.....salute people who remain on the server and wish them all the best of luck

I chose to start playing DAoC for many reasons, make friends, enjoy killing and meeting new mobs, getting interesting original drops, taking my time, relaxing and enjoying the experience...to name but a few

However I did not decide to start playing DAoC to be continually frustrated by an over populated server, a terrible need to level as quick as possible even to the point that it will affect my real life commitments, e.g work, my woman etc

There is such demand and such determination by some people that in the immortal words I will sum up my feelings in one simple quote which just in the end caused me to alt-tab out of DAoC PvP never to return

Can't remember who said it it was actually someone in my guild but picture the scene we are Lvl 4 just killing Lucridanes and one guy has to relog due to gfx bug, after a min or two one guy pipes up:

"FS WE ARE TAKING TO LONG TO LVL!!!!!!!!!This is too slow!"

And with that I wave good bye to Camlann aka More Stressful than a day working on the Stockmarket

I am off to chill on Gaheris with the Americans in the CO-OP server I am lvl 11 on there already in the same time it took me to get to LvL 4 on PvP and its wicked seeing the new classes and races as well as SI arriving on my doorstep Thurs/Fri, will give a full run down on it when I have a good go

Shame GOA are not releasing it till Feb 21st when SWG open beta will be in full swing anyhow

It's actually quite hilarious, I managed to get on last night to take a look and see what's happening. Whilst killing skeletons for armour drops, there was this one character running around and hitting everyones mobs. She would wait for you to pull, then run in and leech. When you confronted her about she said "russian no good english". It was chilling to behold, that server is going to be griever heaven.

No wonder some of them are stressed to level, seeing they are racing it with NP, CE and others.
If you want to take it easy, join a smaller guild which is not aiming to be the #1 pwnz0rguild.
