In game support

Have to say im extremely disapointed with the in game support system that GOA has decided to adopt.

Having previously played on the US servers if an occasion arose where u were subject to grief play, witness bug abusers or cheaters you could appeal to a CSR in game and have your problem virtually rectified there and then. With this sh1t system you need to leave the game , put a report into rightnow and wait several days and nine times out of 10 you are not aware of any results or comeback. This was brought to ahead when i was bugged for nearly 2 hours by some prick who stuck on me for 2 hours and was just deliberately leaching off me non stop and i couldnt do anything about it as when i logged off he was there when i came back, when i moved location he followed and he was unguilded which effectively ruined 2 hours of levelling.

It is a bit crap , like you I'm fed up of bug abusers , this weekend I saw a group made up from a well known guild on hib/excal pulling mobs with no chance of the people themselves getting hit at all . Truckloads of xp with no danger at all . Anyway to cut that particular story short , yup its a long drawn out process to report em so whats the point . That particular spot iirc has been reported numerous times but nothing has happened to change it

The biggest problem with this form of abuse is that so many ppl do it, from using the exits in dungeons (spind and varul mainly), to finding uber xp spots where the mobs dont stand a chance of catching you.

The games been out for around 8 months in Euro, and the amount of players who use these bugs if caught and banned would easily halve over night.

Its like the use of DAoX too, way too many ppl use it, so its not in the interests of Mythic or GOA to ban them.

Still, think this is bad, go back to playing counterstrike..... then youll know how much better anti cheating is here

There's always Zargar, who scares the shit out of you with his YELLOW TEXT. and his uber level 51 invisbility mode, hes on my friends list i know when hes online MWUHAHAHAH which isn't very often to say the least

Sad we don't get support... buuut

GoA aren't that slow on "RightNow", i had my character stucked a few month ago .. it was released 24 hours later.. pretty fast

yes the rock is fixed, i heared about it too so when testing on gorre i pulled a red con irewood greenbark, got SLAUGHTERED while on the rock. problem solved since they can climb up and eat you now

i'l be sure to bring some hienz TK next time i'm in the area. i'd hate to think the mobs would be like the russians in the advert

Depends on the type of question you put to them. Connection problems and lost charc's get priority as it stops you from playing the game - bug reports and abuse reports are right down the list.

First thing I was going to say when I saw the thread name was " What in-game support?". GOA are so focused on getting the next patch out trying to keep up with the US that they've forgotten about the users playing the game. Saying that, there's nothing from stopping them hiring in game "op's" from either the current user base or actually paying people to do it.

Just want to point out that the /friends on a GM character doesnt work in all cases as there are more than one /anon option available.

Average response time to the /appeal command on Mythic's servers is three hours (except for appeals that are flagged "help i'm stuck" which are treated with the highest priority) - hardly "there and then".
