Ok, pretend for a moment that our opinion matters to Mythic. Pretend they make the game exclusivly for me... umm, us :)

Ok, now what would in your own opinion (that means no quoting people and saying 'DUDE, GREAT IDEA YOU R0><><0R!!!' i don't want any groupie drool all over my post)

In your opinion what changes would need to be made to make DAoC more fun, Ok these are mine...

Valewalkers Can Use Other Farm Implements, Such As Trowels, Spades And Combine Harvesters

GTAE Antrax Missiles Be Added To Albion

AE weapon inspectors to be added to Midgard

PBAE Veto for hib

Robes Are Changed To Mini-Skirts (Female Characters Only)

The Rights To The 'Zergling' Class Are Brought From Blizzard (Starcraft) And The Frame Is Transplanted Onto Every Albion Except The Females In Mini-Skirts (Who Get A Horn On Their Head instead)

Heli-Copters

Corpse-Looting


Pwarr, put those in and you'd have an awsome game on your hands! driving arround emain in a combine harvester would definatly kick ass!

I'd like to see a filter that filters out excessive use of caps :p

but then u wont be able to see the pansy caster saying

CASTER UNDER ATTACK!!!11!!1!

cuz all us tank types dont know how to play the game or to get mobs of casters who dont understand mob aggro and cast management

why would I want to?
they got the agro in the first place, let them deal with it...

Just simple stuff:

Buffs that stay put and dont need recast every time a player zones

A Map which unfolds and is always available to the player Diablo style

A graphic engine that can fulfill the promise of DAoC to have hundreds of players in one spot for mass battles without 1fp/20 seconds

Windowed Play mode

Ability to design unique facial appearances for characters to creat truly one of a kind players


Id be more than happy with any or all of these :D.

ok, this is a great idea imo.

a group should be able to conduct a battle royal, rules being the winner is the last member standing. press a button, and all 8 members go at it :)

simple to implement and would be a great laugh.

the expansion of this idea would be allowing groups to duel against other groups, but i doubt that would happen as we would all spend time battling other guilds instead of the enemy :p

Ragdoll physics on bodies and true paths of arrows/fireballs/bolts etc being tracked. Imagine shooting a caster in the face on amg wall to see his corpse be flung backwards off the wall and land in a crumpled heap on the floor. Or shooting at a mob against a wall and pinning it to the wall with your arrow.

;)

Ok.
Give thanes the shammie aug line in the sc line.
Up the DD to do the same dam as the specced dark rm.
Make the aoe a gtaoe.
Move thanes to warrior hp and wpnskill table.
Make the pbaoe castable and respective in dam and spd to the other pbaoe casters.
Implement REALLY big hammers, <Thane only>.
Give thanes the ability to summon the avatar of Thor, at a timer.
Give thanes cloudwalk, and make them able to summon rains, fogs etc.

Ok i stop.

I doubt they'l put that in, no doubt rightnow would be flooded with complaints that directly due to the game features the S-E-X and '/?' buttons on their keyboard would all be broken :rolleyes:

8v8 or 4v4 in a arena complete with spectator stands.
