Is this worth the import?
Is it worth my hard cash?

Before I coudlent wait for this, I was gonna cry and dance around billie jean style as its star wars and its a MMORPG!

Now its out I feel a bit put off from all the stuff about it, and tbh its not been around the town yet of rumors like "it rocks" etc its quiet silent...

Anyway urm I am thinking of buying it import and playing my free month and then waiting for em to settle it in Uk and perhaps start taking switch as thats only payment I can do....

What you think?
Or do you think I should see and wait if they take switch later on as they might not?

Any suggestions.

expect lots of soloing if you want a combat profession

I'd be amazed if they ever took Switch. In fact, I'm gonna go on record and say that they won't. Ever.

Switch has no payment protection for merchants, and isn't even something which is recognised in the States (where they would be billing from)

I'd wager that they won't be selling gamecards outside of the US either, their attitude to foreign customers seems to be "If you ain't American you can f-off"


Or that's been the impression in all my dealings with them anyway :|

What are game cards and what do they do?

Gamecards are an alternate method of paying for online games without using credit/debit cards. Basically what you'd do is go into a Game (generic, not the brand oO) shop and ask for a specific game card. ie. SWG, planetside, Anarchy online etc and they should in theory give you a card which would then have a code on for 3 months or so playtime.

It's a bit like topping up your mobile phones with the whole "Gimme card and i'll scratch off the silver stuff to get the code which i'll then bung into the cc details part somewhere"

But it's rare that anywhere seems to sell these things, that is to say, never seen anywhere selling them local to me, and SOE are another lot who don't sell them outside of the us officially 'because they don't wanna'.
