nah, I couldn't hack skating of any kind and could barely stand on a skateboard for that matter

when I moved to the NL after growing up in the tropics, my schoolteacher swore she'd teach me how to ice skate. I had never before seen ice that didn't come out of a freezer at that time. It took me a week to convince her to give up.

That movie is a little fucked up. In a good way though. Me, I just got done watching the latest episode of Castle. Bejeezus, Hilarie Burton!

I couldn't take it seriously when I first watched it.
It had "that guy" from The Man Who Fell To Earth, and "that woman" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was only after I'd seen it 2 or 3 times that I appreciated it as a vampire flick in it's own right.

The ageing sequence on David Bowie was impressive though.

I like David Bowie, though he acts about as well as a piece of wood does. Still, it's David Bowie man!

On the other hand, I read in the news today that Rianna or however you spell her name has "starred" in some movie or other, and that she's allegedly a fairly decent actress with a promised future of gold and large penises ahead of her.
I don't know which movie it is because it wasn't porn and my attention faded after about three seconds :-/

The Hunger is a great film. What's next, The Howling? some great, bad but watchable films from that era
