I'm off. And I'm taking my new lover with me...

Right, you losers. I'm off for a beer-fest in a Cornish cottage with me mates for a week. This is mainly to try and get my average daily post count down from an embarrasing 20.39. :(

Look after the place while I'm away. Keep my spot on the sofa warm etc.

I shall also be taking my new lover with me, and here she is:

Yush! Further to this thread I've done gone and bought myself a lovely little Mazda MX-5 1.8iS and I love it very, very much. The world seems a better place when you can feel it whizzing by and see the sky above. :D I picked it up on Monday and have been trying to get a photo of it for you. This photo isn't actually my car as my dad's camera is in for repair, but it's the nearest I could find. (Mine doesn't have a weird mesh radiator, though and it has proper mud-guards). Please forgive.

Ich bin ein happy chappy. It has all the extras you'd expect from the Sport version, electic aerial, doors, mirrors, windows, chrome scuff-plates and so on. I'm going to marry it. Oh yes.

So, farewell, all.

Metallic British Racing Green, and it cost £12,700 in all. 17,000 miles on the clock and it turned three years old on 1 March. :D

/me waits for the real pic which will contains a muddy/dented version of the car where every drunk warmblooded male has taken it for a 'test drive' round the big field this 'beer fest' is in. Of course only after seeking permission from the comatosed Summo in the corner

Have a nice time :)

Eh?

180sx engine in a tiny, lightweight 4wd car?

GTi-R's run as fast as fuck, and they are cheap...

This is what i thought mate, was going to buy one about a year ago, drove a couple of them, and you know when you're expecting something but it just doesn't deliver, it was like that. They were dead noisy and flimsy inside and it just didn't seem that fast. The only car thats impressed me in my price range is the Lancia Delta Intergrale(so i've bought one)

Ahhhhh it would seem me and you have found some common ground Skyler matey, if you ever get the chance have a go in one, not much after 5000 rpm, but the acceleration almost snaps your neck, they grip like a bastard too, its bye bye to all the cossie's, and they are also Italian which means they got style(and rot:p )

on the subject of cars, had me first spin in a scooby on saturday - so much fun going round corners sideways in that! amazing amounts of grip

good thing about scoobies is it allows a average driver to drive fast. :D
