This spider was in my room last night in the shadows and it's a quick bugger and wouldn't die.

I then get home this evening and its waiting outside my bedroom for me.

Those spiders do seem to be a Kentish thing. Never saw them before I moved down here, and then in my last house they were everywhere in the summer. I found one of my mates (6ft 3, so quite a big lad) cowering in the toilets because one had come between him and the door.

Its the speed of the things that get me. That and they can jump.

Had one like that on the wall next to the stairs, the thing was huge.

Had a really big leg span, but in the end I wanted to go the fridge so I smished it with my shoe.
