Been up to the Lake District for the weekend. Anyone else been?

Such a lovly place, Ulswater and such.
Windamere is way too busy, spoils it

Went to Ulswater a few years ago

Hired a boat and went round it for a bit

Very nice place

The idea is to get away from the towwns like Windermere Bowness etc and get into the real lake district, buy a guidebook of the national trust walks and get into the real beauty of the countryside
