What do you lot do about narks doing there best to annoy you when you are trying to play CS? Twice today I had very annoying experiences with twats just there to annoy. The first changed his name to mine and ran around stabbing and shooting me (ff not on), and the second, later on, also changed his name to mine, and proceded to run around killing ppl with wall hack. I made screens and demo (which he said would be useless and spouted about what a l33t hacker he was or summit), but now my tag is being used by a lama. What did i do to deserve treatment like this? It seems being at top of scoreboard Is reason enough. How do you ignore someone using your tag and running around shooting ppl through walls!! Needless to say, after swapping expletives to said offenders I left the server

Err u get an admin?

Got to #barrysworld on quakenet (http://guides.barrysworld.com/irc for the illeterate), say you got a problem with cs.

If u do actually think someone is cheating (not just annoying u) then please, please report it to an admin. Preferebly while the person is in the server, its hard to ban someone unless the admin themself has seen teh cheat, recorded their won id etc.

No offence but TFC admins seem to be an absent breed in #barrysworld. The only 3 times iv'e ever tried iv'e got jack help. In fact the last time i tried, all i got when i expained the problem was the answer 'SO'

Needless to say this guy had absolutely nothing to do with TFC, but seemed to make out he was in a postion of authority. I know the twit from my quake days, and knew to ignore him, but needless to say anyone who you differ to #barrysworld through your web page shouldn't be subjected to that shit. I doubt it's very good for business, or in which the way EB would wish it.

Well I don't cover TFC personally as I'm a CS bloke. If you guys feel there is a particular area where admins are lacking feel free to tell us by posting below.

Please note this will just be for my information so I can speak to peeps and try to get something done for you guys. This is not a post an area then say "Can I be an admin please" thing. because I can't help u in that respect anyway.

,...but sometimes it seems too much hassle than its worth, ya know? But I am gonna try and find a server where admins play regularly etc, 'cos CS "community" has abundant supply of ppl out there to spoil the fun. Any suggestions for servers with CS addicts for admins? Gonna get back into a clan too, none of the grief of publics and playing CS how its meant to be played!

best places to play are adminned servers. Damn right there.

My TFC playing is now restricted to clan servers where admins are on the server, or a nifty little server by the name of SCW clan server

This works for TFC so I'll offer the suggestion to you CS'ers (eugh, /me helps a CS player, /me feels somehow infected by them)

Use a bw master list or the master list of another company who hosts lots of clan servers, and look for clan servers with members of that clan on it.

Heh, have BW got an NGUK style filter running on their forums yet

You could play on BWCS 8 ff on or bwcs 7 ff on, I play there everyday at least two other admins frequent it and on thursday tehre were 5 admins on the server at the same time.....some idiot decided to spawn tk, oh dear

dont play on Wireplay (if they ever come back) coz their admins SUCK!! I was kicked for infecting a soldier then shooting him!

Yeah you have a point bout wireplay admins. I played firearms there for a while, most of there admins are no older than 13-14 years old They promoted one guy to admin status even though he was just a score grabbing asshole Anyone that constantly changed the map to omaha, and the one where you could just blow up your own teams crates and get a massive score, then crow about how quote 'Owning' you are is just gay.

I'm also pissed off with useless goatblowers cheatin', acting like complete cods and generally trying their level best to ruin the game for the rest of us. Yr welcome on my server anytime,(operational in about a week), myself or Blood will be on most of the time, and we will kick disruptive players.

Look for -DCA- CS on the jolt server listings m8. I'll get you the ip when we have it!
