i don't have an uber comp :( i can run pretty well DAoC SI even if i get some serious fps drop in rvr and such.

maybe if i give you my sepcs:

win98
amd 1.2 ghz (no not xp)
geforce 3 ti200
512 ddr ram

and not sure if the mother board is important .. but its an nforce2.

so, all of you swg players, could you tell me if that comp is able to run swg, at least not w/o removing all the eye candy ? :)

know what i mean.

pretty much playing with this spec atm and it runs fine. only get lag when the servers get busier and i enter largely populated places.

theres plenty of options too, so if u get lots of lag theres always something you can turn off :)

might be ok... im on a p4 2.8ghz 512mb ram, gforce 4 ti4800, but i lag quite nastily at times, when first entering big cities etc.. my frame rate drops to 1-2. and i've turned some of the graphics settings down.... its a demanding game.

but, when im not right inside cities, im pretty much fun, no lag atall and 29fps.

Does anyone know if theres going to be any differences between the euro version to be released at the end of october and the US version?

I was just looking at that collectors edition they've got on amazon - with the "special in-game item" - and wondering if it was worth paying an exta fiver to have it now rather than a months time?

Nope no differance, you can play on all servers with either copy of the game.

As for computer specs im running on a

p4 1.5
768 sdram
geforce2 mx400

Even with this outdated setup i dont lag much, although i have turned down a lot of the options.

I havn't got the game yet but it should run fine!

Your using the same card as me and a nforce2 mobo with 512 DDR RAM but you may have to turn some options down but I don't know anything about the options becuase I haven't got the game yet :p

One thing to consider, did you ever think of upgrading to Windows XP?

When I upgraded to Windows XP game performance was given a good boost :)

Try it see if it improves your games performance. Might be a good idea for SWG if you suffer performance problems or even if you don't :)

The only downfall is you can't play some of the good old classics like Constructor :(.

Processor doesnt seem to be as much of an issue as RAM tbh.

The more RAM you can throw into your machine the better... I upped mine to 1Gb and very rarely suffer from lag any more.

1.5 gig ddr ram
