Bit upset at the mo...
I'm kind of used to barrysworld being 'mad l33t pings', on quakeworld, tribes, and counterstrike. Now I dunno what's going wrong, and please tell me if i'm speaking out of turn, but barrysworld pings even when dialled up are consistently bad, like on cs, dialled into bw, connected to a bw server, 300 ping. And not just me either, 1:30am on a sunday night, not a very popular time, on a bw cs server. 18 of us, all modemers on 250+ pings, cablers (who are used to 30 pings) on 90+
I don't know who sorts your peering, or if your modems have been replaced with small bits of cheese with 'lol' carved in them, but it really sucks. i just can't play cs on bw, and the only other alternative is the newbie flooded UK2 servers, or the sv_unlag bollocks on jolt
