The other night I was a bit bored and came up with this idea for a game we could play on c.s. It sounds daft, I know, but might in fact be hilarious. Just bear with me.

O.k. on our server we need to turn auto team balance off (I don't know if this would work even then but whatever) alternatively all the t's use any skin except the arctic one. FF is ON! Only one guy uses the arctic skin and he is the Rabbit. The other t's go and join the ct's at their spawn and wait for the game to start (no killing!!11) The Rabbit gets to buy any gun but only the bullets it comes with, so effectively he starts with, say an ak and a glock (30 bullets and 12) the "dogs" only get a knife - nothing else. The object is for the rabbit to last the round (3 minutes?).

I have this image in my mind (sort of like the helicopter scene in Black Hawk Down - or Zulu)) of hordes of knife wielding maniacs bearing down on a lone guy with limited ammunition - who is starting to seriously panic. You would have to aim very carefully not to use up all your ammo or (probably my tactic) find a place to hide where the dogs have to come at you one by one.

Sounds a bit mad I know, but if you take a moment to imagine what it would feel like to have 15 guys all running at you at once and you have 15 bullets left.....

I can hear Trem now......"@#%$ OFF! AAAAARGH @#%$ OFF!!1"

This was posted on our clan forum and I thought I would post it here to see if people thought it was any good.

Reminds me of a clangame where the last T planted the bomb at B on dust2, and we all rushed him with knives ^_^.

Done this before and it is indeed wicked fun :-]

Another one is get one guy to awp, but use adminmod to force him to be crouched so he can only move very slowly and try and knife him.

good idea, i'll bet some1 knowledgeable could create a plugin for adminmod or amx (amx preferably) that would allow an admin to turn on a random select for the 'rabbit' and auto-switch all other players onto one team

hehehe, that would kickass

btw, keeping with the idea of being 'bored with cs', why not try out the new Warcraft3 addon for CS? i hear it's excellent fun

Shame I cant really join in.

In Sydney at the mo, NSW has been suffering a draught. This kind of broke with rain along most of the coastal regions for the last 5 days. Back to blazing sun now though.

o.k. we had a sort of trial run on dust 2 and I thought it was fun. Several highly amusing moments and very close calls. Of course I camped at spawn coz I can't hit @#%$ unless it's lined up for me (on that little wall behind t spawn for instance). But we need to try a differnet map. Itcheh reckons we need to make a custom map but that ain't gonna happen......

Anyway I think the modified rules that we need are as follows (if you have any thing you wanna add feel free - but it's my game and if you don't play by my rules I'm taking it in and my mum won't let you stay for tea)

Up to 4 ct's - the t just has a pistol.

5-10 just a rifle , no pistol.

10 + rifle and pistol. But of course only the bullets that come with them.

both teams can buy armour.

Ct's can buy flash (it's likely to affect them just as much tbh) - no HE nades unless kemikal is playing and won't come out.

T has no nades.

Camping is allowed, after all the object is to survive the round (make it shorter?) and besides if we ban it I will never win [:(]

The guy who kills the wabbit gets to be the wabbit next.

Try and have a drink before the game.

I think that's it. It seemed pretty even the other night so no radical changes needed.

Please post your suggestions for maps (I guess small and without too many camping spots would be cool - Italy?) and any other rule changes you think are justified.

I know some guys didn't really like it, but it makes a change (it's more fun being the wabbit obviously) and I can see us playing it every now and then for half an hour before we revert to normal style of play.


If we organise a regular time or even a one-off I will post here and all bw peeps are of course welcome.

You have to be able to buy bullets or it defeats the purpose.

You are expecting say 1 T to kill 12 CTs with a clip of 30.

That is almost 50% accuracy which is pretty much impossible. You are relying on a headshot each time including the token dropped bullet.

When we played the other night the wabbit won against 12 or 13 cts about half the time. Using an ak or commando and a glock gives you 50 bullets I think so a good wabbit can do it. It's supposed to be a challenge ( and for the moment you can use the para - though we'll see)

And as regards accuracy, the good wabbits let the cts get close before shooting, which made it even more scary tbh. :)

I think the CTS should be encouraged to work more as a team instead of "i wanna be the wabbit i wanna be the wabbit". This is all I saw happening when i joined. Hence the need for more bullets.

And how do you know they didn't buy bullets in the first place?

There is no way to enforce it.

No member of KEA would ever dishonour the clan by not playing by the rules old chap. Good Lord whatever next, ladies in the bar? harumph.

(actually Throddy did buy a shitload of ammo and he's the gaffer ffs!)























But he threw his gun away after 30 shots. Bless.

There's a chance there'll be a game tonight on our server about 8-9 - 10 (shrug) so if you fancy a go, check our channel #xatrix. The server may be passworded for a bit to keep out unwitting fools so if it's on I will post the passy in here later. If you come in join ct's btw :)

Well coz of the won fuckup we couldnt play till 11 but it was good fun.

We played mainly italy and the wabbit didnt win once if i recall. So we are still on the hunt for the ideal map (dust 2 being quite even so far)

I was wabbit 3 times i think and laughed out loud on each occasion, which, to me, seems the point.

Awp was useless too which makes a delightful change.

Voice comms is essential......for info and for laughter :)

I was wetting myself laughing when I was the wabbit, when I was on that balcony thing on Italy and none of you could get up there, there was even one bloke over the other side nowhere near me or the balcony just dodging left to right, I think he was trying to make me shoot and waste my bullets. I wish I'd stayed up there, I may of won:D
