Haggisman got his copy of tribes2 today. But it refused to update. If this happens to you do the following:

Uninstall, then reinstall tribes2. Head to http://www.tribalwar.com/sitecore/t2patch.shtml and grab the patches you need (take notice the patch numbers ).

Install them and go play tribes 2. Seems the best way as the auto downloader does not work for everyone.

yeah, there was a problem with the auto updater so make sure you install the first patch before you run the game. I have aready downloaded it
