If knight Rider was remade, what car would KITT be now?

Ended up watching an old episode on Bravo last night of Knight Rider, and that Trans-Am still stands out as one hell of a nice car, despite being around 20 years old.

But if they remade the series for 2008, what production car should they choose.

Keep it a common-ish car, nothing supercar status.

Cho, only issue with the TVR is that who ever is playing KR would die handling and powersliding around turns in that car, I've heard is bad for your health xD Is pretty though.
