ie Window size

Anyone any ideas -- suddenly when I open an ie window at maximised it ignores about the top inch of my screen, so the supposed full screen view starts about an inch down.

Ive tried reboots etc but hasnt helped ??

From what I can tell stuff that should appear on a fully maximised screen does now go off the bottom -- is somehow the whole page is misaligned with my desktop ?

2nd Edit now Im really confused -- seems to have been solved just by going into the ie folder in prog files and launching from there (and old shortcut fine again) -- anyone know whats going on or is this just another Billy bug ?

the size of new IE windows has given me no end of stress, To fix it what you have to do is open a new window (Not maximised) then drag it larger than the screen actually is and broswe with it for a while (Using only that window, no others) then close it and reboot.
The next time you "Open in new window" it will be as big as the screen

There is probably a better fix like changing the registry, but this works for me.

ye there is a better fix, do what TheJkWhoSaysNi said but you dont need to browse with it for a while, just open a winow, resize it, close it open a new one and it should be the same size, dont need to reboot either.

I tried that, it never worked for me unless I browsed for a little while or rebooted

Just a thought, you haven't got some kind of trojan or virus on your system have you?
