hullo ppl :)

i need a hand with my home network, i have 2 pcs both running win2k, lan card in each, crossover cable connecting them. I can lan games i can ftp between but i cant get internet explorer to work on my 2nd pc (my adsl comes into the 1st one), i also cant share drives but that doesnt really bother me.

It comes up with page cannot be displayed blah blah ive tried stuff like tools -> internet options -> connection -> setup then set it up for a lan but no luck ehm tried stuff through my lan settings but nothing i have done makes it work, are there any obvious things i need to try, and is there any important info you need to help, just tell me and i'll try and provide it, anyway its late and i'll check this again when i get up,

thnx for any help anyone gives, Kempy :)

Get hold of a program called winroute or wingate. That'll do the job for ya.

Personally I think you'll be better off using ICS, which comes with Windows 2000, you need to install it on just the "host" machine (the one with ADSL).

Use Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Windows Setup tab to get ICS installed.
