Icelanders midsummer?

Don't normally post here, but don't know anywhere else where so many Scandanavians hang about...

If googled this quite a bit and drawn a blank.

Anyone know if Icelanders get pissed up all night at midsummer like the other Scandos do? If so what is the exact date? Going up there this June and want to know if it's worth making sure I'm there for at midsummer. Booking flights tonight. Only £3.50 a pint since their currency crash, yay.

Dunno if they have the "traditional" scandinavian midsummer celebration, with the dancing around the wooden co*k and all that, but they are bound to celebrate it in some way, which equals drinking.
