and need to choose my path, i did the first bit that allows you to be a sorcerer but form lookin at posts i can see that alot of ppl say they are cr@p, some advice plz I have high int (98) and went as i said the route that was for sorcerer and summot else, any help is greatly appreciated

your best bet is to either stick with it (and read more about it and make your own oppinions up or go with the "summot" else....

Sorcerers are not Cr@p. They really aren't. I suggest you spec mainly in Mind so that you get 1) A beautiful Realm Pet and 2) For the longest area mezz in the game.

Always play the character you have most fun playing. If the sorcerer makes you cackle and giggle keep playing. If not then re-roll a different class. People always say that class is bad or this class is the best. To tell you the truth, the best characters are ones played by skillful people who know what they are doing. Not by what type of character they are.

They're even easier to level, now that you can charm animals. I suspect you started as a mage, so you're only other choice is a Cabalist.


Sorcerers, imo, are more versatile.

Maybe you are a bit misleaded by me asking to "sorc or to sorc"
Sorcs are great fun to play

Go for mind for pet and mez (no need to take it above lvl 32 IMHO)
Put the rest in body for better damage output

34mind 41body.

Decent items = 900 hp unbuffed and nice resists.

Thats IMO the best template for PvE, RvR solo and RvR grouping. Gives you a nice mez, nice DD, AE root, nic dex/qui and str/con debuffs, L50 pet etc etc.
