Iain Banks - Dead Air

I've just finished Dead Air and was pleasantly surprised. I thought his non sience fiction stuff had gone off the boil over the last couple of years, so haven't bothered reading him, but this was quite good. Pacy, witty and topical.

But they all die in the end, in most of his books I've read all his Sci-fi books and thw wasp factory.

But Consider Phelbas(sorry about spelling) is still one of his best books.
