i12 ! Well are you going?

After a series of very successful LAN's, I-series are back this summer with the latest event, (i12), which will be spanning four days, and encompassing between 600-1000 gamers, (hopefully). Any of you who've been to one of these wicked LANs before will know that there one of a kind, easily the biggest LANs held in the UK atleast.
Luckily, if you haven't signed up yet there still time, all you have to do is head over to the Multiplay website (www.multiplay.co.uk) and at least check it out, hopefully I'll be seeing alot of friendly faces, at i12 :D
So what are you waiting for, go check it out fs!!!1! :D

Thanks, "Mr Total Posts: 2 (2 posts per day)", but if I was going to go to one of these events, I'd rely on fellow forumers' opinions rather than your pimping.

i1-i4 were great fun. then it degenerated into vastly overpriced, poorly serviced garbage.

The moment I stopped going was the moment I thought "hmm ping of 236 in CS on a fucking LAN" as I was eating the manky "bacon sandwich" purchased from the venue that was really one tiny slither of bacon nestling in 2 soggy pieces of piss poor bread that cost me 2 fucking quid...

Oh and there was the fun incident when whilst watching my m8 admin a CS tourney match people on one team were threatening to come up to where the other team were sat and STAB THEM for bunny-hopping....LOL WTF.

I no longer go to the i-series LANs and no longer play CS. Total fecking shite both of 'em ;)

RoWeb lans are pretty cool, not too big but a bit on the pricey side if you have to travel a bit of a distance too... Shotgun lans are great for a laugh & run by an absolute nutter and usually have an attendance of around 40 or 50... not too over-crowded... I prefer smaller lans myself & am going to Aftershock next weekend... nice & small & there's an RC car race-track... can't wait :) I won't be going to i12 or any of the others coz they're just too damn big.

I went to them all up until i7. I want my £3,500 pounds back.

Having said that many amusing incidents did occur. Dimebag getting kicked out of the LAN for "hacking" the IRC server, hol chatting up random birds in Newbury town centre, some shit UT clan trying to start a fight with us accusing us of ringing (we had all changed our names every match. I remember me going through RancidFannyJam, FetidKnobCheese, IFuckedYourMom, DiseasesAnusPubes among others. But anyway, less about the food at Newbury racecourse :)) until they saw the size of most of our players (well, DNM), numerous games of Qpong and porn being shown on the big screen (that was ScotLAN, but it was still amusing) come to mind.

Some of that actually sounds like fun bodhi. It's just a shame I haven't got the £650 deposit required to spectate.

Incidentally, rumour has it Dime was actually chased out of the building. I have no idea if he embellished that though.

He was. By a strange woman with a whip. Even worse, this deeply strange woman is quite high up in Multiplay. It's either cos she plays Tribes or is sucking Wizzo's cock. Not sure which.
