I know that i cant tell people what to do etc, but im asking for a favour for the people who want 2 galladoria raids FFA each week

i know that there are lots of farmers in galladoria nowdays, that kill conservator/lairmaster/xaga/GSC , im ok with that, no problem, but im asking for the favour to not kill them, before the raids i will make starts, or in that morning

why this ? well, i have to think about the people who will come to the raids, and i have to try, to make them enjoy, and to do a perfect galla raid ( btw - im doing galla raids couse i want, and couse i want several drops from it too ;P ) i cant let have an instant full respawn in galladoria raid, when we are at some boss, or in the middle of many trash mobs who were killed, couse if they respawn there and kill all zerg in galladoria, it can ruins seriously the raid. and u know that if u kill any boss in galladoria, the resawn timer starts, and that respawn affects to all dungeon, although u only killed 1 mob

with all theese things, we lose lots of time, that we cant make it later to kill some boss, and what could be the end of the raid ? 4-5 hours of raid, and we only killed 4-5 bosses , that can piss all people, and later they decide not to go again

well..., i hope u all understand me, and that im only asking for the favour to not kill anyboss the day im making the raid

the days are always in alliance amotd, and i make a post everyweek here, telling days/hours of raids, so pliz... :p

If u dont want to help me, i will have to stop doing galla raids, couse i cant waste the time of the people who come to the raid, i hope u understand me

I nailed cons it this morning as we discussed. But there was at least 2 other FS groups in there killing things (which is fair enough).

many peeps play on weekends and when theres 2 raids it effectivly rules out anyone going in to galla for the whole weekend.

Will check with you a bit more carefully in future though and appreciate your concerns...

its about consideration for other peeps playing the game... if you dont have any then fair enough continue this way... we only do focus pulling occasionally in Galla (BoH) so i dont see any prob on your galla days Xfear... but theres always gonna be 1... simple law of averages..

hopefully people will not focuspull the day one of xfear's raids is going on
many people laugh at this and just go and kill the mobs
galla is bugged like it is and the early private raids mess things up
yesterday was a fine example how things really could go wrong, Aroon was waiting for us on the way to Hurionthex :/ and thursday the gsc was waiting to drop tru the wall at BM

Xfear's raids are really nice for peepz who aren't in big guilds that can do private galla-raids, the only chance to get to nice glowy weapons :)
Also for xfear, he goes tru a lot of trouble just to organise it

if this continues you'll have to start a booking thread like the albs do for Caer Sidi

The Focus groups will die out in a few months time, when its nerf'd. If they don't stop then only delay your raids until 1.65 maybe ?

I dont think Xfear is saying you "cant" do it. I think he is saying "please dont". The reasons are clear. Ill only do these when theres no raids in future and I hope others follow suit. The needs of many outweight the needs of the individual and all that.

Put yer dummie back in Ziva - since when do u make the rules - anyhow it was a personal opinion, I'm not saying go out of your way to do it but if a guild has one day that it can get a good guild turnout in there and it coincides with Xfears regular raids who goes who doesn't then?

For that reasons the guilds that need a speacial day to do his galladoria raid, and that guild cant do it another day, the leader of that event, usually PM me telling me that if he can take over the day, and do his event, and i always answer him, that is no problem, and then i change my day raid

Example : Gravedigger & Saadyst are the most known examples

Regimented - Exclusive - like having to take a ticket at the Marks n Sparks meat counter when u want to step out of MM and try to hunt...

I'm not arguing with Xfear or his admirable attempts at doing raids per se - just the fact that it's almost like u have to ask someone if u can hunt somewhere these days - I know focus pulling is an issue in Galla and nerfed it soon will be, but for guild grps who want to hunt freely it's hard enuf to pull the fg's together never mind worrying if Mr ABC or MRs XYZ is hunting that night.

I dont know what kind of problem you have with me and frankly i don't care either. You post your thoughts, i post mine. End of story.

If you are not able to predict what would happen if every guild would randomly hunt the only epic dungeon the realm has without respecting the 2-weekly hunts that are open to everyone then i suggest u take some time off to think about it.

Xfear is not forbidding anyone to hunt Sidi, nor does he force people to raid at certain days. All he asks is some respect and communicating from others so he can continue his free-for-all raids without clashing others and vice versa.

Too bad some people really only care for themselves and fail to see this.

I see where your coming from and to a degree I agree with you, but when trying to take into account more then 1 guild you are faced with a few options, to hit both ends of the scale you can either ..

1. Fuk them all, piss em off, who cares.

or ...

2. Ask everyone in sight and hope no one has a problem because obviously thats means you cant do it.

Well obviously neither of these ends of the scale is what anyone would expect so a compromise has to be reached in order to keep most people happy.

I have always preferred to do things impromptu and as such I dont tend to advertise any raids / events I do with DA, however to compromise if we have the numbers and the desire to do Galla on a Raid day Xfear has advertised then this time we can go elsewhere, Marfach maybe, that kind of thing, and when the impromptu raid happens on a non-Xfear advertised day then we will go and make the most of it. Take opportunity when it arrises and make the occational compromise to keep the peace, then most will be happy. (Most because you can never please everyone)

Stop flaming Demolay for providing a point of view that requires some thought. Do the thinking instead ...

P.s. and of course both I and my comrades wouldn't go a hunting on a day a MOTD raid was planned ofc - Gray would be round me house with a shitty stick for being a naughty alliance member ... it's not what I was saying - as Jayce said just discussing the trend that seems to be growing of semi exclusion (Fins Galla etc)
