same reason some ppl enjoy PvP, is it so hard to imagine there is some that feel that they would enjoy a PvE server.

i Played a little on Gaheris before.. and the vibe is just >>>> all other servers... especially the "bettar th4n j00" PvP servers.

Well i mailed GoA and asked about the co-op server if there was a plan to make one,and this was the answer i got.

As of today, a cooperation server is not planned. While we are considering the possibility of opening one at some point, there is nothing set into stone yet.

Looks like EU is getting the short end of the stick,and if we wanna play on a co-op server we can buy daoc US

They have been thinking about the co-op server ever since the US made one,and GoA has not made up their minds yet

A lot of the PvE fun depends on the sort of hunting and the people you're hunting with.
For me, being in a guildhunt in a new SI dungeon with my guildies, is great fun.
Camping malmo 8 hours a day with random people isn't really funny.

And on a PvE server, you can move to any zone at any time you get bored with camping anywhere else

I didn't think I'd enjoy it that much, but gave it a go, and the much more.... not sure relaxed is the word, there are still plenty of power xp groups, maybe... less intense.... atmosphere makes it pretty fun

Plus, I don't miss the:

Tired of those comments....what does a server cost. It has nothing with server resources to do. And yes I play Camlann so I am biased.

A PvE server would be fun though, new things in Daoc is fun, PvP server too with right people around you and right attitude. Same as regular server....play with fun people = fun.

Just turn camlan into a co-op server. i mean no-one plays on it anymore. Do they ? If people still play it. Then its a waste of space having a whole server for just 300 people.

I can assure you that if there was a Co-op server NP would not play it.. tbh, what's the fun with killing computer-controlled monsters?

Imo the RvR-concept is great, gives nice balanced action whenever you want and you can exp without getting killed by other players.

Anyway at primetime there's usually 600 people on which as much as the smallest german and french servers. And yes it is still good fun.
No MG camping, fg vs fg battles, no proper zergs (2 fg would almost constitute a zerg on Camlann), possibility to PvE raid anywhere you want, with whatever classes you want. The 5 minute timer as helped an awful lot, as now you actually gain RPs more regularly...

Who cares? You think GOA care? like fuck they do.

Just let them print out the uber stats they have gained from the server then format the drive they are stored on. Not like they are worth anything anyway, shittiest server, worst idea for a server, poorest population on any server in Euro and US and overall a total flop wherever it was implemented.

For the few people that still play on Camlann.... oh well, shit happens, play something else. Flame, complain and whine all you want but it's a shit server running a shit game that no-one wants to play.

Wipe it and lets see how another version of the game works.

If co-op server doesn't work maybe we'll finally see a 3rd English server.
