BW already have far too many columnists if you ask me. There's 40 (fourty ffs) listed, most of which hardly ever update and when there are updates they're devoid of personality and interest.

If you ask me I think BW need to decide what exactly they want columns for. If it's to provide content that will entice gamers then the entire system needs overhauling. Ditch all 40 columnists and get 4 or 5 people who are there just to write columns. Pay them properly (set fee per word or something, treat it like a magazine column) and ensure they update once a week without fail.

If BW just want to provide space for 40 or so people to witter on randomly once every 6-12 months then why not just give them all forum accounts?

Seriously though, I did like writing my column, just wasn't keen on the "regular" side of things. Basically because I liked to rant when I had an axe to grind, not just every month. Now it's intentionally left on my part cos GD bloke putting content on BW seemed a little too "conflict of interests" for my own liking.

I try an update my column as often as I can: it rarely falls out of the "most recently updated list".

Then again, that's not hard.

Give Ono a film column and he could do his Barry Norman impression. Or Jonathan Ross, as his accent is easier to imitate. Bodhi should have a column where he could just write insulting things about the world and the people in it and it could be entitled "Its not paranoia, I really do hate you" or something like that.
