Nevwerwinter nights looks really good but even though I am a big fan of the baldurs gate series I think it will be a flop online just like the others. Realize that online is the way to be and that Is why diablo 2 is so successful.

Multiplayer in the Baldurs Gate (and Icewind Dale) games were incidental. Multiplayer in NWN is a fundemental aspect of the game, so I think it'll be just a wee bit more successful online that its predecessors.

NWN has a new aspect of online play, in that you can design your own scenarios and host them on your own server and DM the game all at once.

Possible now in most FPS games, but a first for an RPG.

Player-designed scenarios are going to be the life-blood of the game, BG and ID were single-scenario only. NWN will have a single player scenario provided, but look out for much more once it gets distributed.
