well i guess ill be waiting until november for the launch of EQ 2, yes youre reading corrextly i was an EQ junkie..

anyways,just needing something new to play in the mean time, mainly RPGs cos im into em and perhaps some FPSs


any suggestions for new ones? cos ive pretty much played so many old ones i cba going back to em

Well I just found Freelancer and its so much like ELITE it brough a tear to my eye

It's completely marvelous and once you've completed the story arc (about /played 1 day ) you can just explore the galaxy or play multiplayer over lan or local server.

Reckon you could get a good months worth of fun out of that one.

Freelancer world is static

And opponents get tougher as you get tougher

Getting blasted before you can move when docking is not fun

Not exactly true Silverhood, opponents difficulty is set to each star system.

Rather amusing when you go back to Liberty in a million dollars worth of very heavy fighter and some pirates take a pop at your ass

Still, think I'm bored now. Been everywhere and got all the best toys, so it only lasted two (solid) weeks.
