Ok all i need help, as you know im taking a gap year out of studies but i need to re-apply for Uni with UCAS, i have got everything else sorted, but!!! I need to do this blasted Personal statement. any help would be appreciated.
I aspire to gain an intricate and comprehensive knowledge of the relationships that computers, business and data communication have with one another. My interest in computer communication and its role in business stems from observing the way it has revolutionised the way computers are utilised, which I have found fascinating. Communication is a sector that has gone through revolutionary change in the last decade with constant introduction of more sophisticated means to transport data. I intend to have the technical knowledge to implement and administer these networks. I will reach my aim by taking a foundation course to give me the necessary knowledge to advance to computer network engineering.
I have been fortunate in that I have gained firsthand experience in the computer industry. Having worked in the computer design sector I helped build web sites and produce graphics for a variety of commercial industries, the clients I have worked with include industrial pharmaceutical companies and travel agencies. By enthusiastically working for these companies I was able to visit their head offices and gain priceless insight and experience into how they operate.
I am proud of what I have achieved, This includes successfully winning a membership in the Sussex Rugby football club, and being selected for games against Kent and Surrey, The Sussex experience taught me that the key to a successful team is that the team knows their objectives and are taught how to react to situations or how to apply their own knowledge to solve problem in the heat of the moment, I also joined the CCF as an army cadet, visiting army bases and participating in weapons training and group training exercises, I have also won a separate academic prizes for combined sciences and the arts, I was a monitor of a dormitory for 10 to 13 years olds supervising them and introducing them to the way of living at a boarding school and I was also additionally assigned to look after new entrants out of term time.
Currently I am taking a year out of full time education, I have not wasted my time but used the opportunity to visit France and see how a trademark company works and the methods they use to overcome their competition and attain clientele. In November I will be visiting India where I have obtained a position to teach in a private boarding school and to travel around the region to visit religious complexes in the south and visit the city of Mumbai to see the Bollywood sets and the commercial districts.
