50 users?!

Don't be such a skinflint and buy a commercial one.

What you could do is write a letter to Microsoft asking for a donation towards the Charity for this.

You would, of course, have to keep any funds received as Restricted Income and keep this separately identifiable.

I am sure that if the charitable cause was deemed worthy enough by Microsoft they would be willing to help.

That's a blinding idea Ono. Someone I know did that a while back and got a lot of goodies gratis from Microsoft.

Try it Luap, and in the meanwhile use some shareware

If you work for a registered charity, you'll get software from Microsoft at silly prices (I work for a healthcare charity, and we get W2K Pro for £30, and Office 2K for £50 a user !).

Try Sanderson MSL, who re-sell all sorts of software, and have these cheapo rates for charities. This includes other companies as well as Microsoft (Symantec, CA, etc, etc).

Cheers

bids: I do use Sanderson. We too get silly prices :D

I really wanted some suggestions as there's loads out there but I don't really have time to eval them all.
