i just downloaded the new v8 patch help plz

i just downloaded a 74mb patch to say it dont work it gets half way through to upgrading then it sez
a I/O error has occured. this is normanly caused by a bad installation or a corrupt installation file

plz help cause i cant even play em now int wont work thx

I think he means hl1108 patch. But the error messgae seems clear, your patch is corrupt download it again.

Maybe....

M8 before you go downloadin it again, try n reboot and try again.

Atm i got a screwed up hard Drive, i get loadsa I/O CRC errors and if i reboot and try them again 90% of the time thye work.

Just something for you to try.

I downloaded both HL 1108 and CS 1.3 full versions from BarrysWorld yesterday (cos I needed them) and both were fully functional. Looks like u had some bad luck Matutu :/
