awww i cant start up bf1942 :/

i click the shortcut, an ip in ase or click the .exe directly and all that comes up is the black and white battlefield 1942 'window'

and then the game doesnt load

THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY

Is there a big scratch on the cd? Try the other CD that comes in the box.

the cd is on my hard drive, both my original cds are in pristine condition, still the same problem

its my CD just on my hard drive... i know a few others do this too with no complications

It's exactly the same way as I run it, ripped the r2r cd to my hd, it speeds up that annoying safedisc check, and since it's a clone of the cd you don't need to install any dubious no cd cracks, since in essence it's a no cd install.

I DID CHANGE SUMMAT, I INSTALLED A MAP, got rid of it, works now
